Neil Young - “Walk With Me”
Almost two weeks ago I finally got to cross off my biggest goal on my “bucket list." I got to see Neil Young up close and in person. Words cannot explain how stoked I was when I saw him. Tears truly came to my eyes when he entered the stage with his hands raised to the sky in the form of a peace sign. I lost my voice that night and for the first time in my life I did not mind being speechless. Neil Young entertained a packed house at the Landmark Theater. The setlist was perfect, a dream come true – a great mix of classic Neil tunes and new songs from his latest work, Le Noise. He played acoustic, electric, and the piano, pump organ (which sounded AMAZING), and harmonica. Even though it was just Neil, the sound filled the room. To be honest, I really did not miss any other instrument, I mean it is NEIL YOUNG! He was loud and powerful. It was a near perfect show. The only thing I was bummed about was how quickly the time went….I wish it never ended.

I didn’t bring my camera because I had heard how Neil can be fickle with photography. Here is a video I found online shot from the nosebleeds, which was his final song of the night.
